The classic 18th century architecture of the original exterior is echoed in many of our exquisite wedding function rooms, which combine Celtic grace with a uniquely modern elegance, creating the perfect backdrop for your all-important wedding photos. Whatever your individual wedding reception ideas, the understated elegance of each venue creates a perfect canvas for you to personalise your day and express your own tastes and style.
The timelessly elegant Burns Room.
Our largest wedding reception venue is The Burns Room, which epitomises the tradition and luxury at the heart of The Kingsmills Hotel experience. Offering stylish dining for up to 80 guests, The Burns Room is laden with original features and boasts beautiful natural light.
If you are planning a more intimate wedding celebration, we have a selection of three smaller wedding reception rooms for you to choose from. The Torgorm Room is a lovely cosy setting for smaller weddings of up to 24 or 40 guests. You can seat 24 guests at a traditionally elegant single table, or alternatively seat 40 guests around 4 round tables. The recently refurbished MacLeod Room, boasting original architectural features is an understated and elegant choice, seating up to 24 guests. The smallest of our wedding venues, The Adams Room, is also one of the most charming, featuring a traditional open log fire, original features and seating for up to 22 guests.
The Kingsmills Gardens provide one of the most sensational and romantic backdrops for any Scottish wedding. Catering for up to 100 guests, the gardens provide a fairytale wedding setting, offering you a choice of sheltered areas for both your ceremony and your reception, meaning that there is no need to worry about our unpredictable Scottish weather affecting your big day!
